The famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot is constantly trying to get to Britain, but there is no longer any place for the “Shooting Express”. He is trusted by an old friend of Monsieur Buk, the boss of the mercenary company. The detective shows that the passengers on the train are people of different nationalities. The American Ratchett, who seems to be suspicious of Poirot, asks the detective to become his security guard. Well, that seems to be the case. In the morning Poirot is awakened by carnage sounds for the entire hour, and then there is silence - through the snow, the train stops here near Yugoslavia, the passengers are nervous, and the wonderful Mr. Ratchett lies dead in his compartment...
