active ingredient: diosmin;

1 tablet contains 600 mg of diosmin;

other components: povidone, cellulose microcrystalline, starch corn, magnesium stearate.

Pharmacological properties

Diosmin reveals flebotoniziruyushchy action: raises a tone of veins (dose-dependent effect), reduces venous stagnation; improves a lymphatic drainage: raises a tone and frequency of reduction of lymphatic capillaries, increases their functional density, reduces lymphatic pressure; improves microcirculation: increases capillary resistance (dose-dependent effect) and reduces their permeability at the expense of what the trophicity of fabrics improves; reduces adhesion of leukocytes to a venous wall and migration in paravenous fabrics, has moderate anti-inflammatory and antiagregantny effect. strengthens vasoconstrictive influence of adrenaline, noradrenaline, serotonin, blocks education of free radicals, synthesis of prostaglandins and thromboxane.

After oral administration in a GIT and is defined in blood plasma by 2 Parts C _max in blood plasma is reached in 5 h after reception. Indication

Use

In a varicosity of the lower extremities and an initial stage of chronic limfovenozny insufficiency: 1 tablet a day in the morning before a breakfast. duration of a course of treatment is determined by the doctor, depending on the nature of a course of the disease. the course of treatment makes 1-2 months at severe forms the term of treatment can be up to 4 months, at trophic changes and ulcers - ≥6 months a course of treatment on doctor's orders can be repeated in 2-3 months

In sharp hemorrhoids: 2-3 tablets a day during meal for 7 days, if necessary continue treatment on 1 tablet of 1 times a day up to 1-2 months

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to medicine components.

Side effects

Special instructions

Efficiency of medicine will be maximum if the patient observes the correct operating mode and rest. it is necessary to avoid long stay in a standing position or sitting, raisings of heavy things, wearing tight footwear, long stay in the sun and in hot rooms. the remedial gymnastics, wearing medical compression stockings contribute to normalization of microcirculation and increase efficiency of medicine.

Use during pregnancy and feeding by a breast

In pilot studies teratogenic effect of diosmin on a fruit. So far in clinical practice there are no messages about any side effects at use of medicine for pregnant women. But, considering that it is impossible to exclude completely probable negative influence, use of medicine is possible only according to vital indications if the expected therapeutic effect prevails over possible risks. Treatment is carried out only on doctor's orders and cancelled for 2-3 weeks before childbirth. Due to the lack of data on penetration of medicine into breast milk, it is not appointed to the women nursing.

Diosmin can strengthen vasoconstrictive effect of epinephrine, Norepinephrinum.

Overdose
