Ruta Makoviy, the heroine of Galina Petrosanyak's debut novel, finds herself in Switzerland and accidentally becomes a participant in what is considered evil. For Ruthie's Swiss colleagues, there is no mention of evil: in this world, something like this has long become a routine... In whose novel there are different worldviews. Fundamental concepts, which are respectably unambiguous, are menacingly split into two, disturbing the heroine, and at the same time the readers, searching for precise clues: what is this, what is the difference between freedom and sloth? The novel has a number of motives: illness and old age, agriculture and music, the dramatic understanding of good and evil in people.
