Calendula is used as: lowering blood pressure, anti-inflammatory , bactericidal, wound healing, antispasmodic, stimulates the heart. A significant amount of flavonoids has a remarkable effect on the liver - it reduces the amount of cholesterol and bilirubin in bile. Use of calendula flowers (marigolds): externally - for skin cracks, herpes in the stage of appearance of blisters and ulcers - as a 10% infusion of flowers in vegetable oil, and for seizures - 20% infusion. Prepare a flower infusion with sunflower oil in a ratio of 1:5 (20%) or 1:10 (10%), leaving it in the sun for 2 weeks to lubricate infected areas.
