Pharmacological properties

Pharmacological effect of a tiotriazolin is caused by activation of an antioxidant system of enzymes and slowing down of processes of peroxide oxidation of lipids in ischemic sites of tissues of eye, reduction of weight of neurotrophical violations, increase in intensity and speed of reparative processes, decrease in inflammatory reaction of fabrics, improvement of a blood-groove in an eye microcirculation. medicine promotes early recovery of sensitivity of a cornea, formation of more gentle pomutneniye, considerable reduction of quantity of complications, reduction of manifestation of a visual asthenopia, improvement of functional indicators of an akkomodatsionny muscle and the central departments of a retina that improves functional capacity of eyes.

Indication

Injury and burn injuries of an eyeball, inflammatory dystrophic diseases of a cornea, viral conjunctivitis; for prevention of inflammations of eyes, reduction of manifestation of a visual asthenopia at the persons working with the personal computer.

Use

Drug are appointed from the first days of a disease in the form of instillations on 2 drops by 3–4 times a day in a conjunctival sac of the affected eye.

At severe defeats of instillation is recommended to combine with subconjunctival or parabulbar injections 0.5 ml of 1% of solution of 1 times a day within 7–12 days. Tiotriazolin's instillations carry out within 14–15 days. If necessary the course of treatment can be continued up to 30 days.

For the persons working with the personal computer, medicine is appointed in the form of instillations on 2 drops just before the beginning of work, and then
