Operation manual

Important security guidelines:

• only for measurement of body temperature;
minimum time of measurement before emergence of a sound signal has to observe
• surely;
  thermometer contains fine details (the battery, etc.) which the child can swallow therefore do not leave the thermometer unguarded;
• not to throw the thermometer!!!
• needs to avoid temperature increase of the environment more than 60C. Not to boil the thermometer!!!;
• for cleaning of the thermometer use disinfectant, recommended in the section "Cleaning and Disinfection"

Turning on of the thermometer: for turning on of the thermometer press the button INCL. / VYKL, the sound signal informs on turning on of the thermometer. On the display the character set will appear. After that within two seconds the self-examination of the display will be carried out. Then temperatures given the last measurement will be reflected in the display in the right corner together with badge "M". After that at ambient temperature less 32ºС on the display the L symbol and a badge is displayed, blinks "ºС". It means that the thermometer is ready to work.

Use of the thermometer: choose a necessary method of measurement. In the course of measurement the continuous display of the actual temperature is carried out. The °C symbol blinks during all this time. After completion of measurement the sound signal will be distributed.

Ways of measurement

In a mouth (orally). Place a contact measuring head in a mouth. The measuring sensor has to be in good contact with fabrics. Close a mouth and evenly you breathe through a nose to avoid influence of the inhaled / expired air on thermometer indicators. Approximate measurement time: 40 seconds.

In an anus (rektalno). This way of measurement is recommended for babies and small children. In this case it is necessary to enter carefully a thermometer tip on 2-3 cm into an anus. Approximate time of measurement of 40 seconds. Indicators temperatures taken rektalno are 0.5 °C higher than the data obtained at oral measurement. In the axillary hollow. Replacement of the battery:

When in the right bottom corner of the display there is a badge, it means that the value of the battery is exhausted and it needs to be replaced. Use the battery of 1.5 V of LR41 or SR41, or an equivalent. To replace the battery it is necessary to perform the following operations:

1. to Uncover a battery compartment;
to Return to
2. a bracket, fixing the battery;
3. to Extend the used battery;
to Install to
4. new battery by a pole "+" up;
to Return to
5. a bracket to a starting position and to accurately close a battery compartment cover.

Cleaning and disinfection:

Means: isopropyl alcohol of 70% for cleaning of the body of the thermometer and a measuring contact head use the tampon moistened in alcohol. Not to use abrasive detergents, solvents or gasoline and also not to immerse the device in water or other liquids.
