Description
The Beach Boys – Fun, Fun, Fun/Why Do Fools Fall In Love (Capitol Records – 5118, USA, 1964).
"Fun, Fun, to Fun" - the song is written by Brian Wilson and Mike Lav from the American rock group The Beach Boys. Byla is let out in 1964 as a single with "Why Do Fools Fall in Love". Both appeared on an album "Shut Down Volume 2" later.
"Fun, Fun, Fun" - one of many The Beach Boys songs on which the myth about California was based. In the song it is told about the teenage girl who deceives the father to drive on his Ford Thunderbird. At the end of her father opens deception and takes away from it keys. Closer to the end of a song the performer suggests the girl to drive with him to have fun ("Fun, Fun, Fun").
according to the radio-manager from Salt Lake City Bill "Deddi-O" Hesterman, the early promoter of The Beach Boys who organized their performances in Utah, the song was inspired by a case with participation of Shirley Johnson, the daughter of the owner of radio station. Shirley borrowed from the father Tanderberd of 1963 on which there was a sticker about the parking of Utah State University for occupations in library of the university. Instead it parked at theater. The police took away from it the drivers license. Later Johnson told that she loudly complained of an incident during the interview with The Beach Boys on radio station where it then worked as the secretary part time. Hesterman told that Wilson and Lav amused with this case wrote the beginning of a song at the airport on the same day.
Introduction of an electric guitar was based on the song by Chuck Berri "by Johnny B. Goode". The accented drum parties of a track were inspired by Phil Spectors work. And the first two phrases of a song support almost same the sequences of chords, as the first two phrases of a song of the Da Doo RON RON The Crystals group, and are melodiously similar.
Pesnya was recorded on January 1, 1964 in United Western Recorders Studio 3. A vocal and additional imposings - January 8 or 9. Plastinks
in very good, practically in excellent condition. On labels there are spots, inscriptions and stickers. A cover without images.
