The chair upholstery is made of velor - a furniture upholstery fabric that has a soft pile velvety front surface. The fabric is durable, has excellent stretch and drape. The fabric sample passed all the necessary wear resistance tests. The fabric is specially intended for use in the furniture industry; the textile sample has passed all the necessary wear resistance tests (at least 25 thousand Martindale abrasion cycles). Suitable for daily use at home, as well as for commercial use (HoReCa segment).

Velor is made from synthetic fibers with the addition of natural materials. The fabric does not wrinkle, is easy to maintain and clean, is resistant to mechanical damage, allows air to pass through freely and has good thermal insulation. Care instructions are below.

Important: care instructions

Velor is very sensitive to external mechanical influences, but at the same time has strong self-healing properties. If you notice that the fabric pile on the back, seat, the legs of your product will be accepted, please do not worry. Small creases in velor pile that occur during transportation and storage are not a defect in the product, but are an integral part of the physical characteristics of velor fabric. After unpacking the product, the pile will be restored and the wrinkles will go away on their own within two to a maximum of three weeks.

You can also speed up the process of restoring the pile yourself by applying heat treatment to the pile with steam from an iron or warm air using a hair dryer. To do this, you need to unpack the product and, directing a stream of steam or warm air of medium strength onto the jam, lightly rub the jam area with your hand. The pile will rise. We kindly ask you not to run the hot surface of the iron over the fabric, and also not to use a technical or household hair dryer with a high heating temperature and strong air pressure. In this case, you will burn the pile and it will not recover!
