Description
The American writer, poet and journalist Howard Philips Lovecraft (1890-1937) was called the Edgar Poe of the twentieth century. He worked in the genres of horror, mysticism, fantasy and science fiction and was the creator and master of the American mystical “black school” of the 20s and 30s of the last century. During his lifetime, Lovecraft did not publish a single book and gained fame among the general reading public after his death. His work is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for filmmakers; many films have been made based on his works. "Dreams in the Witch's House" is a short story by H. P. Lovecraft, written in 1932. Walter Gilman was a talented physicist who also had an excellent understanding of folklore. While studying at the University of Arkham, he tried to combine exact sciences with myths to determine the connection between known and unknown spaces. Following his scientific path, he studied many forbidden books, including the terrifying Necronomicon. But even this seemed not enough to him - Gilman decided to settle in an old house, where, according to legend, the spirit of the witch Keziah Mason, who knew how to move beyond the boundaries of known world space, still hovers, which she did the night before her execution... p> >
