A number of songs previously unavailable in the UK enliven this cheap cash-in, produced after the Stones fled Decca for the welcoming arms of Ahmet Ertegun.
Its not a bad compilation of The Stones bluesier songs. The addition of hit singles (As Tears Go By, Paint It Black and The last time) is a little distracting in the over all blusey context. But in one way they provide a lift because most of the songs presented are slower tempo numbers.
I cant call this a must have record. But it is a fun listen.
