“The Picture of Dorian Gray” is the only published novel by Oscar Wilde. In terms of genre, it is a mixture of an educational novel with a moral parable. Exists in two versions - in 14 chapters (July 1890) and in 20 chapters (April 1891), - chapters III, V, XV-XVIII were added to the new separate edition.
