Pertussinum syrup classical in cough fl. 200 ml of Solution Pharm

Syrup Pertussinum is applied to symptomatic treatment of the inflammatory respiratory diseases which are followed by cough: bronchitis, tracheitises, pneumonia, whooping cough.

Structure

1 g of syrup contains (active ingredients):

• thyme grass extract - 15 mg;
• essential oil of a thyme - 1 mg.

Excipients: Natrium benzoicum, potassium sorbate, the citric acid, a sucralose, water purified.

Contraindication

• hypersensitivity to medicine components, including bromides or other plants of the Lamiaceae family and also sensitivity to a celery and pollen of a birch (cross-reaction is possible);
• age up to 4 years;
• a decompensation of a cardiovascular system, arterial hypotension, the expressed atherosclerosis, anemia, diseases of kidneys with violation of their functions, diabetes, alcoholism.

to Apply

inside:

• to adults and children is more senior than 12 years - on one tablespoon (15 ml) 3 times a day;
• to children aged from the 4th up to 6 years - on ½ teaspoons (2.5 ml) 3 times a day;
• to children aged from 6 up to 9 years - on one teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day;
• to children aged from 9 up to 12 years - on one dessertspoon (10 ml) 3 times a day.

to Children up to 6 years a single dose of medicine - ½ teaspoons (2.5 ml) - needs to be dissolved in two dessertspoons (20 ml) of the cooled boiled water.

Duration of treatment is defined by the doctor depending on a course of the disease, the nature of complex therapy and tolerance of medicine.

Pregnant

due to the lack of sufficient data is not recommended to use medicament during pregnancy and feeding by a breast.

Children

to Apply medicine to children aged from 4 years on doctor's orders.

Drivers

As medicine contains alcohol, patients should show care at control of motor transport or other mechanisms.

Side effects

At prolonged use the bromism phenomena: skin rash, rhinitis, conjunctivitis, gastroenterocolitis, general weakness, ataxy, bradycardia. Treatment of a bromism consists in the termination of administration of medicament and strengthening of removal of salts of bromine (purpose of large amounts of sodium of chloride, liquid, diuretic medicines).
