One-room house

Prior to Vasily Makhna’s new poetic collection “One-Way House”, works written between 2018 and 2020 have reached their peak. They have oceanic expanses and the boundlessness of the Atlantic shores, over which whales, sickle comets and sicklebirds fly, planks are cucumbered, and Bach, instead of music, is engaged in weaving. From the window of the poet’s house, which is just under one window, you can see the most detailed details of the world, as if the buoys are rattling and the shores of the land and distant shores appear.
