Nurofen Express the Ultracap is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicament for symptomatic treatment of head, tooth and periodic menstrual pain. Fever and muscle pain at cold.

Structure

• active ingredient: ibuprofen; 1 capsule contains an ibuprofen 200 mg;
• excipients: a macrogoal 600, potassium hydroxide, gelatin, sorbite (E 420), Ponso 4R (E 124), Opakod WB white NS-78-18011, the water purified.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to an ibuprofen or to any of medicine components.

to the Patients having in the anamnesis a bronchospasm, asthma, rhinitis, a Quincke's disease or an enanthesis connected with use of acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicaments (NPVS).

Should avoid application of Nurofen Express the Ultracap along with other NPVP, including selection inhibitors of cyclooxygenase-2 (TsOG-2).

to adults and children with body weight ≥ 40 kg the recommended initial dose makes 1 - 2 capsules, then, if necessary, on 1 - 2 capsules (200 - 400 mg of an ibuprofen) each 4 – 6 hours. Not to use more than 6 capsules (1200 mg) within 24 hours.

Children with body weight ≤ 39 kg. Use of medicine is possible to children with body weight not less than 20 kg. The maximum daily dose of an ibuprofen makes 20 - 30 mg on kilogram of body weight, divided into 3 - 4 receptions with an interval of reception of 6 - 8 hours. To exceed the maximum allowed daily dose.

to Children with the body weight of 20 - 29 kg the recommended initial dose - 1 capsule (200 mg of an ibuprofen are equivalent). The maximum daily dose makes 3 capsules (600 mg of an ibuprofen are equivalent).

to Children with the body weight from 30 to 39 kg the recommended initial dose - 1 capsule (200 mg of an ibuprofen are equivalent). The maximum daily dose makes 4 capsules (800 mg of an ibuprofen are equivalent).

Feature of application

It is medicine contains sorbitol. It is not recommended to apply the patient with hereditary intolerance of fructose.

Overdose

First symptoms which usually are observed, are: nausea, vomiting, a headache and dizziness, pain in epigastriums, diarrhea, drowsiness, inaccuracy of sight, sonitus, gastrointestinal bleedings.

Side effects

from a cardiovascular system: heart failure, tachycardia, increase in arterial blood pressure, vasculitis, myocardial infarction.

from an urinary system: reduction of excretion of urea and hypostases, a sharp renal failure, allergic nephrite, a glomerulonephritis, an oliguria, a polyuria, cystitis, a hamaturia, papilonekroz, especially at prolonged use.

from a gepatobiliarny system: abnormal liver function, pancreatitis, duodenitis, esophagitis.

from the system of blood and lymphatic system: blood formation violations (anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia, Agranulocytosis).
