4th generation Grado drivers specially tuned for the SR125x. The new speaker design features a more powerful magnetic circuit, a voice coil with reduced effective mass and a redesigned diaphragm. Upgrading these components to the new 44mm drivers improves efficiency, reduces distortion, and maintains the harmonic integrity of your music.

In addition to the speakers, the cables and headband have been redesigned for the SR125x. The 8-conductor cable is now more durable, transmits more information, and features oxygen-free copper wire for improved audio signal purity. The new headband has more padding for greater comfort.
