Headphones Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7b Black

ATH-MSR7 headphones from Audio-Technica have been released in a new version with the letter “b” at the end.

According to the developers, the new product weighs less than its predecessor, but sounds better.

The basis for the original ATH-MSR7 was the studio ATH-M50x. The new product was able to lighten the design by 53 grams, and added comfort due to memory foam in the pillow on the headband and in the ear pads. The earcups house 45mm True Motion drivers with Diamond-Like Carbon coating on the diaphragm. Due to this coating, the diaphragm became stiffer, which had a positive effect on reproduction accuracy. The “Dual-layer Air-Control” technology familiar from the original MSR7 also helps with this.

The kit includes two cables: balanced 4.4 mm and unbalanced 3.5 mm. Both connect to headphones via the A2DC interface. In addition to the headphone cables, a protective case is supplied.
