In folk medicine, this plant is used to treat hyperacidity, hoarse voice, inflamed prostates, stones in gum disease, diabetes, etc.

Olive oil is one of the oldest products and is high in omega-3-linolenic acid, which is increasingly becoming a valuable food additive.
