Ingredients of the Aquavita set:

• anise,
• cloves,
• cardamom,
• cinnamon, < /li>
• orange peel,
• lemon peel,
• cumin,
• fennel.

Recipe for “Aquavita” tincture at home:

Lightly mash the spices in a mortar or a rolling pin, pour into a dry frying pan and fry, stirring constantly over medium heat for 1-3 minutes until a strong smell of spices appears. Cool the spices and pour them out of the jar. Pour in 1 liter of homemade vodka or double-distilled moonshine (preferably grain moonshine) with a strength of at least 40%. Add 1.5-2 tablespoons of sugar, mix well. Leave in a dark place for 2 weeks, shaking occasionally, filter and let rest for at least 3-4 days, or preferably a couple of months. Can be aged in an oak barrel.
