Description
Sambuca is a traditional Italian liqueur: sweet, but not cloying, with refreshing tones of lemon and anise. The drink is remarkably viscous, has a delicate aroma and a tantalizing aftertaste.
Sambuca Recipe
All you need is: p>
- 2.6 liters of alcohol 40-45%
- Hot Rod spice set for Sambuca style liqueur (set for 3 liters of finished product)
- Tsukor - 450 g
- Water - 300 ml
Preparing for a drink is difficult. You need to place the water in a saucepan, add a set of spices there, bring to a boil and add the zuccor. Cook, stirring, until the tsukor breaks down, then simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Now alcohol is poured directly into the hot sumish. Cover everything with a lid and let it sit for about a year; the saucepan can be further covered with a towel.
Once the liquid has reached the surface, strain through cheesecloth (you can use it very carefully), pour into an airtight container. You can try it now, or better yet let it sit for a week or two. After refining the drink, if necessary, filter it again with additional water and that’s it - homemade anise liqueur is ready!
