My Galicia. The region beyond the Carpathians

The main geographical topos, which sparks most of the book Zaltse Landman, is Skhidna Galicia and Zhovkva, a place of writing, and the main collective character is their most precise: father and mother, grandfather grandmothers, uncles and aunts, cousins, friends y know. The stench itself is evidenced by or by active individuals of the weave of endless stories that create a common expanse of these hypotheses. And then there are also dozens of other characters - episodic and sporadic: Polish landowners, Ukrainian villagers, Hasidic prodigies, Austrian hussars, Russian Cossacks, Jewish merchants, orendars , shinkars, shadhens (whore intermediaries), zhebraks, monasteries of God, priests, monks , nannies and servants, etc. Under the pen of Swiss writing, an authentic panorama of Skhidna Galicia from the beginning of the 20th century once again emerges colorfully. - with all its dimensions, everyday life and saints, social contrasts and historical cataclysms.
