A motherwort – sleeping pill and sedative, Drug the adult as sedative at the increased nervous irritability, cardiovascular neurosises, at early stages of a hypertension, at easy forms of violations of backfilling and a dream.

Structure

• active ingredient: 1 tablet contains a grass motherwort dense extract (Leonuri cardiaca herba) (1:0.15) (extractant – ethanol of 70.0% (about/about)), in terms of the maintenance of the sum of flavonoids of 0.4% and dry matter – 14 mg;
• other components: lactose, monohydrate; potato starch; confectionery sugar; talc; calcium stearate; cellulose of a silitsifitsirovan, microcrystalline.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to biologically active agents which are contained in medicinal vegetable raw materials.

Predisposition to arterial hypotension.

Side reactions

from skin: rash, itch, hyperaemia and swelling of skin.

from a digestive tract dyspepsia.

from the immune system: allergic reactions.

from nervous system: dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, decrease in intellectual and physical effeciency.

to Adults and children of 12 years to accept

inside on 1 tablet (14 mg) 3–4 times a day. The doctor determines duration of a course of treatment individually for each patient taking into account character, severity and features of a disease, stability of the reached medical effect and tolerance of medicine.

Feature of application

Drug contains lactose therefore, insufficiency of lactase or a syndrome of glyukozo-galaktozny malabsorption use of medicine is not recommended to patients with rare hereditary forms of intolerance of a galactose.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or other mechanisms

during treatment should abstain from control of vehicles and performance of other work requiring special attention, fast mental and motor reactions.

Overdose

When exceeding the recommended doses of medicine the dizziness, drowsiness, decrease in the ABP can be observed.

Treatment. At overdose it is necessary to stop use of medicine. Symptomatic and maintenance therapy is appointed (according to a clinical condition of the patient).
