The novel became the basis for the historical drama “Kava with Cardamom”, produced by Solar Media Entertainment in collaboration with the STB TV channel and supported by the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema. The main character is played by the Polish actor Pavlo Delong, who is famous for the films “Schindler’s List” and “Dim”. Olena Lavrenyuk became his partner on the significant Maidan - the author Natalia Gurnitska chose this actress for the role of the main character. The dramatic story of a young girl’s fenced-in farm until her richly older Polish nobleman befriends her, as it flares up in the atmosphere of Lviv in the 19th century! What is the difference between passion and justice? For her, it’s more of a mess, for someone else, it’s likely, it’s already gone...
