Confessions on a Dance Floor (with English   —   "A confession on a dance floor") — the tenth studio album of the American singer Madonna released in 2005. Disc became a peculiar return to roots: musical material sends by a disco era — time when there was Madonna singers formation. Alby became one of the most successful albums of Madonna — all for few months it was sold out with a circulation more than five million copies and headed charts in 40 countries. The global sales, by different estimates, made from 8.5 to 12 million copies.
Main producer of an album became Stewart Price, the musician specializing in dancing disco music and acting under a pseudonym Jacques Liu Comte, it is Les Rhythmes Digitales.
On an album are absent ballads, all compositions are sustained in dancing sounding. Alby it is recorded without pauses between tracks, except for the limited collection edition in which the last song — a bonus track of "Fighting Spirit" — is separated from the others by a standard two-second pause.
For the first time for all career of Madonna an album was also presented for sale in a digital form in iTunes online store. Alby it is also released in 5 options: the standard edition on a compact disk, the limited edition on a compact disk with a bonus track, the iTunes-mix which is written down in one track without division into separate songs, separate compositions into iTunes, the edition on a vinyl disk with division into separate songs.
