Directions for Use

Onion Powder: Like granules, onion powder adds flavor and aroma, but does not affect consistency. It is particularly suitable for sauces and gravies, canned foods, meats, spice blends, soups and spreads. Add directly to food or mix with cold water to make a paste. To substitute fresh onions, use 1-1/3 tablespoons onion powder.

Use fresh onions when you want to enhance the taste, aroma and change the consistency of a dish. Great for casseroles, soups, sauces, meatloaves, vegetable dishes, pasta, spread on bread and added to stuffing.
