Two visual images from an album Animals became especially known: power plant Battersi and huge inflatable pig. Power plant on a cover of an album pretended it a tourist attraction. And the inflatable pig who is, according to Roger Waters, a hope symbol was used later practically at all concerts of group.
can connect the Concept of an album with the idea of the book "Farmyard" of George Orwell. People were metaphorically compared to animals: pigs, dogs and sheep. Dogs were image of businessmen careerists; pigs are immoral politicians and moralists. Pigs and dogs — those who operate sheep, uncomplaining herd, ordinary people, the inhabitants who are thoughtlessly following the leaders. the NME Magazine in the review called
an album of "one of the most extreme, ruthlessly rectilinear iconoclastic blocks of music what it is only possible to hear on this side of the sun …". Melody Maker: "… uncomfortable taste of reality in the environment which habitually lulled us all previous years … "
Plate practically in excellent condition.
