Lavender 100 grams

Lavender is a frost-resistant evergreen bush. The name comes from the Latin lava - to wash, this is explained by the fact that the Romans added lavender to their baths for freshness and aroma. Lavender relieves feelings of drowsiness, helps with headaches and dizziness, helps with paralysis and convulsions after a stroke. In addition, it promotes urine excretion and reduces toothache. Dried flowers and lavender oil are used in cooking. Lavender is often used as a spice in national French, Italian and Spanish cuisines. Dishes seasoned with lavender instantly acquire a characteristic aroma. Lavender flowers are used as a natural flavoring in the manufacture of some expensive meat and sausage products. There are known recipes for original green sauces, as well as vegetable dishes and oils made from thyme, sage, dill and lavender. The main benefit of lavender is that with regular consumption of the plant, the immune system is strengthened and the human body becomes less vulnerable to various viruses and colds. In Italy, Spain, and the south of France, it is used to season salads, sauces, mushroom, vegetable and fish soups, main courses of vegetables, fried and stewed lamb. Dishes are sprinkled with lavender powder in the same way as pepper. Interestingly, during smoking of products, lavender, along with juniper berries, is added to the smoldering sawdust. In the USA, green Ukrainian tea, homemade drinks and vegetable salads are flavored with the spice. In a number of countries, it is included in herbal teas. Wrap a pinch of lavender in gauze and put it in the closet with your clothes. Firstly, it will get rid of moths, and secondly, the clothes will be saturated with a light, pleasant aroma.
