PU leatherette is created using innovative technologies and consists of several layers. The two bottom ones are made of standard leather, which retains almost zero hygroscopicity and breathability. And the top layer is polyurethane, which gives the material excellent aesthetic characteristics: the leather is painted in different colors, and different reliefs can be applied to it, imitating the texture of natural skin of different animals. At the same time, PU leatherette is much lighter, more elastic, more diverse, more durable and stronger than natural leather, and, of course, cheaper. But by external parameters it can be quite difficult to distinguish it from genuine leather.
