Due to the content of dietary fiber, coconut flakes do a good job of removing toxins from the body and help cleanse the intestines and blood vessels. It is better to store coconut shavings in a cool place where the product is not exposed to direct sunlight. The shavings are often added to various cosmetics, in particular to scrubs to cleanse the skin and to perfume compositions due to their rich aroma. Due to its taste, coconut flakes are used in cooking. It is used in the confectionery industry for baking cakes, muffins, and making sweets.
