Description

Is the word "curry" considered to be ? of Tamil origin, and simply means "sauce". But strictly speaking, the word “curry” has several meanings. This includes sauces, dishes prepared using a mixture of spicy and hot seasonings, and leaves of the neem tree (Murraya koenigii). The British believed that it was precisely because these leaves were added to the sauce (“kari-patta” in local) that it was called “curry”. But are the leaves of the neem tree actually? An optional component of curry sauce. And there is no standard curry recipe in the world. Thanks to the light hand of the British, curry sauce has long gained popularity all over the world, but everywhere it is prepared differently. The distinctive features of this mixture are: a sweetish, slightly pungent taste, a warming, pleasant aroma and a bright yellow color. Basically, the curry contains well-dried and finely ground fenugreek seeds, coriander, cumin (jeera), mustard, as well as turmeric and chili pod. Sometimes cloves, cardamom, ginger, fennel, cinnamon and other spices are added. All ingredients are thoroughly mixed and a very aromatic mixture is obtained, which can transform any dish. In order to enhance the taste of Curry, this aromatic mixture is recommended to be added to the dish before cooking. Curry goes well with meat, fish and vegetable dishes. It is irreplaceable and when cooking rice, can also be added to soups, cheese dishes and salads. It goes very well in vegetable stews, when preparing beef tenderloin and minced meat. This spicy and very aromatic mixture gives dishes a golden hue and a very pleasant aroma that is difficult not to recognize . Spicy curry is ideal for spicy and spicy dishes, and also goes well with chicken, rice and seafood. Due to the variety of spices, the curry mixture is endowed with a variety of properties. Their symbiosis creates a powerful set of beneficial actions that classify curry as a valuable and necessary seasoning needed in conditions of harmful environmental influences. The main component of curry, turmeric, contains a unique substance called curcumin. According to some researchers, curcumin can prevent cancer, and in some cases, cure it. This substance also activates the immune system and destroys proteins that block brain activity and thereby contribute to the development of Alzheimer's disease. Curry has strengthening, tonic and antibacterial properties, useful for diarrhea, dysentery, asthma and cough. Ingredients of the spice mixture: red hot pepper, fenugreek, coriander, turmeric, cumin, dill seed, cloves, allspice, etc. Origin: Ukraine.
