Ibuprofen-Darnitsa tab. of 200 mg No. 20

Ibuprofen-Darnitsa is the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicament (NPVS) derivative of propionic acid for symptomatic treatment of a headache, a toothache, a dysmenorrhea, neuralgia, a dorsodynia, joints, muscles, rheumatic pains and also treatment of symptoms of cold and flu.

Structure

• active ingredient: ibuprofen;
• 1 tablet contains an ibuprofen 200 mg;
• excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium of a kroskarmeloz, silicon dioxide colloidal waterless, starch corn, magnesium stearate.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to an ibuprofen or to any of medicine components.

Existence in the anamnesis of reactions of hypersensitivity (such as asthma, rhinitis, Quincke's disease or small tortoiseshell) after application of an ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) or other NPVS.

Peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum/bleeding in an active form or a recurrence in the anamnesis (two or more expressed episodes of the confirmed peptic ulcer or bleeding).

Gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation of a wall of digestive tract in the anamnesis connected with application of NPVS.

Heavy heart failure (class IV on classification of NYHA), a heavy renal failure or a heavy liver failure.

Active inflammatory bowel disease.

Hemorrhagic diathesis or other violations of blood clotting.

Last trimester of pregnancy.

Route of administration

Only for short-term oral administration. It is necessary to swallow of tablets, washing down with water, not to chew.

Should apply the lowest effective dose necessary for treatment of symptoms, during the shortest span. If symptoms remain more than 5 days from an initiation of treatment or worsen, it is necessary to see a doctor.

Medicine are appointed to adults and children with body weight by more than 20 kg (approximately from 6 years). The recommended daily dose of medicine makes 20–30 mg/kg of body weight. Not to exceed a dose of 30 mg/kg of body weight a day.

to Children with the body weight from 20 to 30 kg (aged from 6 up to 11 years): on 200 mg (1 tablet) on reception. The repeated dose is applied if necessary in 6 hours. Not to exceed a dose of 600 mg (3 tablets) in day.

to Adults and children with body weight more than 30 kg: on 200–400 mg (1–2 tablets) on reception. The repeated dose is applied if necessary in 4–6 hours. Not to exceed a dose of 1200 mg (6 tablets) in day.

Elderly person do not need special dispensing.

Feature of application

Side effects connected with an ibuprofen can be minimized by application of the lowest effective dose necessary for treatment of symptoms, during the shortest span.

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast

in the period of the I and II trimesters of pregnancy should avoid use of medicine. Medicine is contraindicated in the III trimester of pregnancy.

In limited researches in breast milk in very low concentration therefore it is improbable that it could influence the baby who is nursed negatively.

Children

not to apply to children with body weight less than 20 kg and age up to 6 years.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or other mechanisms

At an application condition according to the recommended doses and duration of treatment medicine does not influence speed of response at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms.

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose arise within 4 hours after application.

. At adults the dosage effect is less expressed. Elimination half-life at overdose makes 1.5-3 hours.

Symptoms. Use of clinically significant quantity of NPVS made sick, vomiting, pain in epigastric area most of patients or is more rare – diarrhea. Also there can be a sonitus, a headache and gastrointestinal bleeding. In a serious poisoning the toxic damage of the central nervous system which is shown by drowsiness, vertigo, by dizziness, a lethargy, sometimes – the excited state, an ataxy, a disorientation or a coma is observed. Sometimes at patients spasms develop. In more serious poisoning there can be a hyperpotassemia, a metabolic acidosis and increase in a prothrombin time / MNO (possibly, through interaction with the blood-coagulation factors circulating in the blood channel). There can be a sharp renal failure and damage of a liver, hypotension, a hypothermia, cyanosis, a short wind/syndrome of an acute disorder of respiratory function and short-term episodes of an apnoea (at children is after use of large amounts of medicine). At patients with bronchial asthma the aggravation of a course of asthma can be observed. The nystagmus, violation of clearness of sight and a loss of consciousness are possible.

Side reactions

side Below-mentioned reactions belong to those which were observed at short-term application of an ibuprofen in nonprescription doses. At treatment of chronicities, at long-term treatment, additional side effects can be observed.

Most often observed side reactions from digestive tract. Generally side reactions are dependent on a dose, including the risk of developing of gastrointestinal bleeding depends on a dose and duration of treatment.
