Hypnos is a sleeping pill and sedative. Indications to application - periodic insomnia at adults.

Structure

• 0.6 ml (13 drops) supports a docsilamin of succinate of 15 mg;
• other components: ethanol of 96%, mints of pepper oil, the water purified.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to a docsilamin to succinate or to excipients or other antihistamines.

Acute closed-angle glaucoma in the anamnesis of the patient or in the family anamnesis.

Uretroprostatichesky violations with risk of an ischuria.

Route of administration

For oral administration. To apply in 15–30 minutes prior to a dream.

Recommended dosage makes 7.5-15 mg (7–13 drops) a day. If necessary it is possible to increase a dose to 30 mg (26 drops) a day. Drops should be accepted with enough liquid, approximately makes ½ glasses of water.

to Patients of advanced age and patients with a renal or liver failure is recommended to lower a dose.

Duration of a course of treatment is 2–5 days.

Feature of application

Insomnia can have the different reasons which are not demanding obligatory intake of medicines therefore before use of this medicine the consultation with the doctor is recommended.

As well as all hypnotic medicaments or sedatives, succinate of a docsilamin the syndrome of a night apnoea (increase in quantity and duration of apnoeas) can aggravate.

Pregnant

On the basis of the available data, docsilamin it is possible to apply during pregnancy after consultation with the doctor. If to apply this medicine at the end of pregnancy, atropinopodobny and sedative properties of this molecule should be considered at observation of the newborn.

to children up to 18 years.

Drivers

Should avoid driving, work with other mechanisms and other potentially dangerous types of activity at least during the first phase of treatment.

Overdose

First symptoms of sharp poisoning is drowsiness and signs of anticholinergic effects: excitement, expansion of pupils, accommodation paralysis, dryness in a mouth, face reddening and necks, a hyperthermia, sinus tachycardia. The delirium, hallucinations and athetotic movements are more often observed at children, sometimes they are harbingers of spasms – rare complications of massive poisoning or even coma. Even if spasms do not arise, acute poisoning docsilaminy sometimes causes a rhabdomyolysis which can be complicated by a sharp renal failure. Such muscular frustration is widespread, and demands carrying out systematic screening by measurement of activity of a kreatinfosfokinaza.

Side effects

Anticholinergic effects: a lock, an urination delay, dryness in a mouth, a disorder of vision (accommodation violation, illegibility of sight, hallucinations, a visual impairment), strong heartbeat, confusion of consciousness.

Day drowsiness: at development of such effect it is necessary to lower a dose.

It was reported about cases of abuse and emergence of medicinal dependence.
