The company Caffo dates back to 1865, when Giuseppe Caffo began distilling marc at the foot of Mount Etna. After many years as a manager of various wineries, he realized his dream and purchased his own factory in Sicily in 1915 with the intention of passing on his experience and passion for making drinks to children.

At first, the plant produced distillates, but gradually the Caffo family restored rare ancient recipes for Calabrian liqueurs based on fruits and medicinal herbs, which immediately won the favor of gourmets and the most sophisticated clients. Giuseppe's sons, who took over the baton from their father, did a lot to expand the family business.

They acquired new factories in different parts of Italy and developed recipes for unique drinks. The bulk of the aromatic plants and grapes used for their production are grown on the Caffo group's own plantations in Calabria.

Grappepe the first grappa with chili pepper that appeared on the market. Chili pepper is one of the most loved and consumed spices in Calabrian cuisine, which inspired Caffo to create this unique drink, and is also known for the fact that in the right doses it can stimulate and regulate the digestive processes.

Base: pulp from grape varieties: Greco, Gaglioppo, Magliocco. Contains an infusion of hot chili peppers.
