Plastic water seal with lid

An excellent choice among water seals, both in design and appearance. Italian quality, marked - made in Italy. There are also Chinese water seals, the price of which is 50% lower, but their quality leaves much to be desired. Do not experiment with your mash - this is a valuable raw material, it does not deserve low-quality water seals.

Use with water to act as a sluice to protect your mash from oxygen and infection, or with activated carbon to reduce odor from fermentation.

Fill the water seal with boiled water or a disinfectant solution to create a closed fermentation system that allows CO2 to be released but does not allow air to enter and contaminate your mash, beer or wine. For easy installation in a mash container, a rubber sealing ring for the water seal is required, which is supplied in the kit.

Beware of fakes, they are available for sale (on the original water seal, the manufacturer stamps the “Made in Italy” marking).
