Expansion. Book 2. War of Caliban

"Caliban's War" is another novel in the "Expansion" series by American science fiction writers Daniel Abraham and Ty Frank, who use the pseudonym James S. A. Corey. The genre of this book, as well as the entire series, is a fairly harmonious homage to “hard” science fiction, space opera, horror, political detective and action. Having passed the river after the “incident” on Eros, if the asteroid lost its magic protomolecule, it could change the structure of all living organisms. This infection threatened the entire Sonyachny system, and until Nina Eros’s deeds began to spread to Venus. There, under this ball of atmosphere, the protomolecule grows and vibrates. Nowadays, the plant is infected with it and is growing on Ganymede - the breadbasket of all the outer planets. However, this attack is enough to ignite the existing conflict between Mars and Earth. As a result, Ganymede is experiencing major disruptions, the stability of the system is under threat, and the protomolecule appears to be spinning.
