Description
Ink WWM CANON PG440/510/512/PGI520 BlackPigmented (C10/BP-4)
The coloring matter in pigment ink is a water-insoluble organic, or more often inorganic, compound (usually special types of carbon black). Pigment is colored solid particles that have the characteristics of a solid body, such as volume, diameter, etc. In ink, pigments are used in a very crushed form: the particle size is less than 0.1 microns. The particles are so small that they freely pass through the nozzles (diameter 15-50 microns) of the nozzle plate of the print head.
Advantages:
- print quality is comparable to laser printing;
- are considered waterproof, since they practically do not dissolve in water. Prints printed even on plain paper practically do not smudge when exposed to water;
- prints made on plain paper have a greater number of shades than water-based ones;
- do not spread on bad (loose or damp) paper;
- burn out less;
- black is truly black, not with a purple tint.
