Charles Darwin's turtle

“Charles Darwin's Turtle” is a synthetic book of selected works by Anatoly Dnistrovoy. It presents poetic works from 1993-2013, poems, translations, as well as a small corpus of micro-scientism, which the author calls epistols. First of all, the bulk of Dnistrovoy’s creativity - poetry, translations and all - is united in one cover, which allows the reader to read more clearly the writer’s love for those themes - cultural memory, abandoned spaces, experiences of the loss of the past, I what was not so long ago is now. The image of Charles Darwin's turtle, which died of a heart attack in 2006 at the age of 250, is a metaphor for the remaining testimony of these hours, the representatives of which are practically no longer available.
