Chasnik in granules gives chasnik herbs an aroma, but does not take away the pungent odor. Granulated chasnik came from Italy and is actively added to desserts.

Drying time is used as a substitute for fresh meat and poultry, cooked soups, jellied meats, homemade sausages, mushroom and vegetable pickles. The meat is rubbed with dried chasnik before cooking, and in soup chasnik is added 3-5 minutes before readiness.
