Unlike glossy photo paper; matte paper is not able to clearly convey subtle gradations of colors; especially dark ones; and is not protected from environmental influences; Therefore, it is recommended to store prints in albums or under glass.

Matte photo paper contains a special layer with a fluorescent coating; converting ultraviolet radiation into visible light; which provide it with record whiteness - up to 141%. It should be noted; that the high whiteness of the paper ensures brightness and natural color rendering; as well as the clarity of the lines. Another distinctive characteristic of matte photo paper is its instant absorption of ink; the image dries quickly and does not smear; which allows you to immediately print on the reverse side (for double-sided matte photo papers). Matte photo paper is compatible with all types of ink cartridges; using water-soluble; pigment and ultrachrome inks. However, printing with pigment inks will be more saturated and contrasting.
