Description
NewTone A4 (G180.50N) is a glossy, single-sided, medium-weight photo paper for printing on printers using water-soluble inks. Photo paper is a material specially designed for inkjet printing of photographs, graphics and illustrations. It has the ability to quickly absorb ink and prevent it from spreading over the surface and inside the sheet. Thanks to this, pictures and photographs printed on photo paper have high resolution and saturation.
Glossy paper is designed for printing photographs or photographic quality images on printers and plotters. The ability to print at home bright, rich images with a variety of shades and color gradations, creating the impression that the photos were printed in a professional laboratory. Increased whiteness, the absence of the ability to smear a newly printed image, light fastness and resistance to time, as well as a huge number of other advantages complete the list of advantages of high-gloss paper.
Photo paper consists of a base (substrate) or paper itself that has a certain structure; the weight, thickness and strength of the sheet mainly depend on it. The backing contains an adhesive that is injected into the backing or applied to the surface to tighten the fibers. On both sides (top and bottom) it is protected by layers of polyethylene. Above is a primer layer, above which is a receiving layer that directly absorbs the dye. Everything ends with a protective layer that prevents the negative effects of sunlight, light and ozone on the image.
