The magic number of the novel “The Carriage Under the Dead Fox” is the most important. Filled with webs, like a web of vast expanses, from real-life stories and guesses, sprinkled with a bit of literary magic, the novel is not a text-stripe that girls used to decorate their braids, but rather, a “dream catcher,” an ancient amulet. At the center of this amulet is the Ukrainian aristocracy - forgotten, trampled into bagno, ground into gunpowder, defied, like a phoenix, immediately standing from the grave in the struggle for honor and dignity.
