Pharmacological properties

Drug has the systemic medical action caused by a combination and mutual strengthening of active components. renders broncholitic, mucolytic, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and antiallergic action.

a spasm and reduces reactivity of bronchial tubes, reduces an asthma, allows to reduce the frequency and intensity of attacks of suffocation. Improves quantitative (production volume) and quality (physical and chemical) characteristics of a phlegm, promotes fluidifying and an effective otkhozhdeniye of dense slime. Restores work of a ciliary epithelium of bronchial tubes.

Anti-inflammatory effect of medicine prevents damage of bronchial tubes and lungs by free radicals and proteases, protects a pulmonary blood-groove from action of mediators of inflammation.

Reduces inflammatory infiltration and hypostasis of a mucous membrane, prevents development of sclerous changes in bronchial tubes and lungs. Improves a condition of system immunity, (IgE and CEC level) normalizes a functional condition of a cellular link and indicators of antibody-mediated immunity and also reduces extent of antigen challenge. Promotes stabilization of membranes of mast cells, reduces an eosinophilia.

Drug increases efficiency of complex therapy OH. Strengthens broncholitic action of inhalation corticosteroids and β ₂ - agonists, allows to reduce frequency rate of reception or a dose of medicines of basic therapy.

At treatment of bronchitis, including obstructive, medicine reduces expressiveness of a bronkhoobstruktivny syndrome, promotes improvement of dynamics clinical (including auskultativny symptoms, indicators of function of external respiration given to a pikfloumetriya) and subjective manifestations.

In therapy of chronic bronchitis, including cough of the smoker, is facilitated by expectoration, improves breath, the general condition and quality of life, prevents development of irreversible changes in bronchial tubes and lungs. Promotes fast elimination of asthenic symptom complex of hypoxemic and infectious genesis. Stimulates individual compensatory opportunities of an organism, increases nonspecific reactivity and body resistance to infections. Improves psychometric parameters of quality of life of patients.

Indication

Acute and chronic bronchitis, including with an obstructive syndrome. in complex therapy oh.

Use

to Adults and children is aged more senior than 12 years: on 1 tablet or on 10 drops of medicine in pure form or divorced in 1 tablespoon of water;

to children at the age of 5–12 years: ½ tablets;

to children at the age of 2–12 years: on 5 drops of medicine divorced in 1 tablespoon of water;

to children aged till 1 year: on 1 drop of medicine divorced in 1 teaspoon of water or milk.

3 times a day — drops, 2 times a day — tablets.

In an initiation of treatment and also in the cases demanding fast reduction of expressiveness of symptoms of a disease recommends to take the medicament each 30 min.-1 the h to 8 times a day before improvement of a state, but no more than 3 days, with transition to standard reception — 3 times a day.

For increase in efficiency is recommended to take the medicament in intervals between meals (in 30 min. prior to or in 1 h after a meal), previously having taken medicine some time in a mouth before ingestion.

Course of treatment: an acute bronchitis — 2–4 weeks, chronic bronchitis — 4 weeks. Chronic obstructive bronchitis, OH — 2–3 months

Hypersensitivity to any of medicine components.

As Atma contains vegetable and other natural components, minor changes of taste and a smell or some turbidity of solution are possible that does not lead to decrease in efficiency of medicine.

Drug contains lactose in a dosage form of a tablet therefore to patients with rare hereditary forms of intolerance of a galactose, insufficiency of lactase or a syndrome of glyukozo-galaktozny malabsorption instead of the tablets Atma it is necessary to use medicament in the form of drops.

Use during pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Information on any risk for a fruit and the child owing to administration of medicament during pregnancy and feeding by a breast is absent so far, but at the same time expediency of use of medicine carry out advantage/risk which is defined by the doctor taking into account a ratio.

Children. Drug in the form of drops is appointed to children aged 2 years are more senior. Tablets — to children are aged more senior than 5 years.
