Album with illustrations for the poem "Aeneid" I. Kotlyarevsky - Oksana Ternavskaya

An album in A3 format (300x425 mm), which includes 41 illustrations, created by Oksana Ternavskaya for Ivan Kotlyarevsky's poem "Aeneid".

The characters masterfully drawn by the artist’s brush, familiar to every Ukrainian from childhood, got rid of the asceticism of A. Bazilevich (the famous illustrator of the Aeneid), comfortably placed in the luxurious scenery of the Ukrainian Baroque.

It is known that the art of book illustration is very close to the theater, and the book artist is the main director of the action. And in this book, O. Ternavskaya became both a costume designer, a prop maker, and a decorator. And she even held a casting for all the heroes. A unique world has been created! And therefore the book looks like a bright film, the characters of which came to us from the depths of centuries.
